Mutant Purple Frogs
Well, I have to totally admit I have been neglecting my blog, lately. But the existence of “purple frogs” has thrown me for a loop. These creatures literally look like they belong on Star Wars, as Jabba the Hut’s lunch or something.
I mean frogs are supposed to have large eyes and a bigger mouth, right?
The frog’s official name is Nasikabatrachus sahyadrensis. It lives in the Western Ghats region of India. It was officially discovered in the year 2003. It likes to eat termites and stays underground most of the year. They are really rare and are on the endangered species list. It sometimes also called the Pignose Frog.
